Microblading Aftercare
Microblading similar to a new haircut will make you have feelings like you don't recognize yourself - It's normal. Don't worry, simply take care of your new eyebrows and go through the healing process with confidence you'll love them.
- Apply A&D ointment twice a day for 10 days. This will prevent scabbing. You don't want a scab. Healing under a wet layer tricks the skin to heal from the bottom not the top plus it traps the color.
- It's going to get itchy. Simply press the area with your palm to satiate the feeling.
- Wash your face gently and be especially careful around the treated area. Pat it with a clean tissue. Don’t rub your brows.
- Avoid excessive sweating, saunas, swimming in the ocean and pools, and long showers.
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning.
- You can wear makeup just avoid the eyebrow area. Bacteria may be present in your makeup so it's best to avoid contact.
- If you experience any signs of infection or abnormal swelling let us know and our NP can evaluate the situation and recommend a course of action.
